The Girl Behind the Mess
Navigate High School Like a Pro
Cramming & Crying is here to help other teens tackle the chaos of school life with humor and heart, through real talk, relatable stories, and practical advice to make it through the journey.

How This All Started
I’m a freshman in high school, sharing my perspective as I go—and hoping to both learn and help others along the way. High school is hard. Way harder than I expected. People gave me advice before I started, but it was always the same things: “Try new things,” “Maintain a good GPA,” “Join a bunch of clubs.” You’ve probably heard those a million times too. What no one really told me was the stuff that actually helps—like how to make your essays sound more sophisticated, how to stay organized so you don’t forget homework, which clubs really matter for college apps, or when you should even start thinking about college. After a lot of trial, error, and late-night Googling, I’ve found answers to some of those questions. And that’s why I started this—because I wanted it to be more than just me talking. I want this to be a space where we can all share our best tips, tricks, and real advice to figure out high school together.
